The month of March wrapped up with a ZOOM! A no-holds-bar, no-frills night skate from Skateline Bishan Park to the Singapore Zoo. It saw a great turnout of skaters in for thrills and spills through a seldom-visited part of Singapore.
Many thanks to Skateline for organizing the event and the SAVs who lent their helping hand. Not forgetting the participants too!

Here’s what some of the skaters have to say:
“It was a great night of fun and speed. It happened so fast!”
- Kwok Wai Him, SAV and Skateline ICP Instructor
“Very thankful to Jon and the gang that organised the event. Something happened to me for the first time since I started joining the night skates:
I stayed behind to help somebody who fell repeatedly, so the four of us fell behind the main pack by about a kilometre. The guys in the front pack couldn’t wait, so the group of us were told to get into the van and be transported to the front.
On the whole, I enjoyed the session, but lost some of the pleasure because part of my journey was on four wheels instead of my own eight.
On a less personal side: I really admire the children below ten who could keep up with us and finish the journey none the worse for wear. My only wish is to see more oldsters like myself on subsequent SNS’s.”
- David Ng, Skateline ICP Instructor
